FKP Scorpio Entertainment

About

FKP Scorpio Entertainment is a leading international promoter of live entertainment, delivering concerts, tours, and theatrical productions across the UK and Europe.

Horrible Histories: The Concert is a live stage adaptation of the popular Horrible Histories franchise, combining history with humour to engage family audiences through music and storytelling. The show was hosted at the Southbank Centre, within the iconic Royal Festival Hall.

Problem

To enhance audience engagement and extend the live show experience beyond the auditorium, while increasing visibility among attending families and theatre-goers.

Plan of Action

Experiential - Themed Hand-to-Hand Distribution:
iDO deployed Brand Ambassadors at the entrance of the Royal Festival Hall, engaging audiences as they arrived for and departed from the show. Hand-to-hand materials were distributed directly to attendees, ensuring targeted and relevant reach.

Immersive Costumed Activation:
To bring the brand to life, iDO sourced three high-quality, show-inspired costumes, a Cleopatra, a Roman gladiator, and a Viking. This created an immediate visual connection to the Horrible Histories theme and captured audience attention.

Interactive Audience Engagement:
Brand Ambassadors, fully in character, interacted with families and theatre-goers, transforming a standard flyer distribution into an entertaining and memorable experience.

Outcome

By targeting audiences at key entry and exit points, iDO successfully engaged a highly relevant and captive audience.

The use of theatrical costumes elevated the activation, creating a strong visual impact and enhancing the overall event experience beyond the stage.

This immersive approach reinforced the playful and educational nature of Horrible Histories, leaving a lasting impression and strengthening audience connection with the show.
