Turning arrival time into part of the day out
The Principality Stadium brings families and first time visitors through its gates in their thousands. The WRU wanted the concourse to feel like an occasion rather than a queue, so we staffed the zones with ambassadors and professional face painters.
A concourse that feels like a festival
Our teams painted thousands of faces, which did two jobs at once. It shortened how long the wait felt, and it filled the stands with visible colour the broadcast picked up.
It also gave families something to photograph and share, which is the cheapest audience growth a venue can buy.
Record attendance
The event drew a record attendance. Feedback from the WRU and from visitors singled out the atmosphere and the approachability of the team on the ground.
“The energy the team brought to the stadium was incredible. They transformed the concourse, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for our families and the next generation of visitors.”
